Oak Park Studio is a design studio with an artisanal approach to branding, web, editorial design, creative direction and custom publishing with a focus on arts, cultural and fashion projects. Since 2017, we have designed, edited and published Lindsay, a magazine that celebrates different cultures and places around the world. Lindsay has received international recognition for its distinct aesthetic and considered production. It quickly garnered a global community of readers and international stockists such as MoMA PS1 New York, Ofr Paris, Gucci Garden Florence, Daikanyama T-Site Tokyo, the Tate Modern London, and National Gallery of Victoria Melbourne. We have worked with brands such as Gucci and Aesop, and hosted events at Maryam Nassir Zadeh, Heide Museum of Modern Art and Mara Hoffman. In 2020, we launched Very Good Films, an online film catalogue to share our favourite films with a world living in isolation. Within weeks, the site had an international readership and was profiled in The New York Times. Oak Park Studio is led by Beth Wilkinson, a creative whose practice spans design, photography, publishing and communications. We are based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia, on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people, but work with clients and a network of collaborators (photographers, designers, artists, writers + developers) internationally. We value our work with independent and start-up brands, artists and cultural institutions and welcome projects big and small. Our work is personal, reflective and collaborative as we approach each facet and stage through a storytelling lens to create work with depth—layers that give it life.
